Lunarang is a Tier 5 unique throwing weapon that returns to the player once thrown. It will always return to the character that originally threw it.

Unlike a normal boomerang the lunarang scatters into four tiny lunarangs when it strikes a block, each capable of dealing damage.

The Lunarang has a base power of 12 and a 0.6-second delay before you can throw the Lunarang again after catching it. Each of the smaller Lunarangs created upon striking a block has a base power of 3.

The Lunarang cannot be found anywhere in the universe. The only way to acquire one is to convert a normal Boomerang into a Lunarang, either by crafting it yourself using the blueprint - which appears where other generic Legendary items appear - or by having it crafted for you at Biggy's Reputable Weaponry.

When upgraded at a Weapon Upgrade Anvil to tier 6, the Lunarang's base power increases to 14 and the smaller Lunarangs' base power increases to 3.5. Additionally, the appearance of the Lunarang changes to the one shown below.

Apart from the addition of a gold star to the name, no other changes occur as a result of the upgrade.

Trivia

The description refers to a line uttered by Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: A New Hope upon discovering the galactic superweapon Death Star.
