Captain Noble is the leader of the Terrene Peacekeepers after the fall of Earth. He is the only unique Novakid character that the player can encounter. Noble often leads from the back, analyzing clues and sending the gang leaders to prison rather then actively fighting them. He believes in justice and protecting people, and he also believes in helping the player to deliver that justice onto the ones who deserve it.
Noble's story begins with the Becoming a Peacekeeper quest, where the player arrives at a run-down Peacekeeper Station, built into an asteroid. He is most likely one of the only Peacekeepers left at that point, with all of the others (or at least vast majority) being destroyed along with Earth. There he trains the player to become a proper Peacekeeper before giving out their first real assignment. As the player takes down crime rings with the help of Noble, the Peacekeepers become more and more popular, leading into an increase in funding (most likely from donations) and an upgrade and relocation of the station as well as restoring their ranks. Eventually, Peacekeeper Stations are established all across the galaxy, and Noble becomes the leader of a much larger organization.
Trivia
- Keeping with the theme of player aligned characters having names associated with positive concepts, Noble's name obviously is referring to the idea of something being Noble, such as his cause. It may also be a pun based on the Noble Gases as well.
- To show the player the ropes as a Peacekeeper, Captain Noble takes on the guise of Captain Ignoble, leading the unique fake "gang" known as the Rowdy Peace Disturbers (of which he is also the sole member).
- According to dialogue lines from other Novakid Peacekeepers, Captain Noble is apparently quite handsome by Novakid standards.
- One of his own lines indicates that he apparently may not sleep much, if at all, an unusual, if workaholic, trait among Novakids if true.
