Copper Pickaxe is a tool that deals 1.5 damage 10 times per 3 seconds to blocks in a 3x3 square. It was formerly the second tier pickaxe, but as of version 1.1.1 it is now the first tier pickaxe.

Copper Pickaxes used to only mine silver, iron, copper, and coal. Higher-tier ores (and the blocks housing them) would not drop if mined with this pickaxe. As of version 1.1.1, however, Copper Pickaxes can successfully mine all materials.

This pickaxe was craftable in early beta, but was made uncraftable in update Pleased Giraffe. As of version 1.1.1, it can only be found inside containers on Garden Planets or purchased at Ursa Miner once it opens up.
