Tesla Spike is an object unobtainable by players through normal means. This item's information is present in the game files, but not intended by developers to be in players' possession.

Tesla Spike is a trap found in the Miniknog Stronghold, as well as in electric-themed Ancient Vaults. It creates an electric current that will connect to adjacent spikes and makes an intense electrical buzzing sound. It deals 25 electricity damage once per second to players when touched, but does not damage monsters or NPCs.

Even if encountered in a non-shielded environment, attempting to mine a tesla spike will cause it to break and drop nothing. As a result, it cannot be obtained through normal gameplay.

Racial Descriptions


Apex :	Apex traps. I'd better not touch.
Avian :	If only I could fly over these traps.
Floran :	Floran dislikess lightning machines.
Glitch :	Fearful. There appears to be enough current here to entirely fry my circuits.
Human :	Uh oh, looks dangerous.
Hylotl :	Similar devices are used defensively beneath the ocean. The Hylotl build moats of electricity currents as intruder deterrents.
Novakid :	I don't fancy getting a nasty jolt. Better steer clear.
