X Marks the Spot was a quest given at the outpost after completing the quest Psst (Falcon Class) which awarded the third Ship Upgrade.
It required the player obtain a Treasure Map from an Avian Airship. It could be found hanging on the wall inside the airships as a decoration. Returning it to the questgiver would award a Tech Drive and a Manipulator Module.
This quest was removed from the game when the game's story was overhauled in update cheerful giraffe.
