Liquid

Liquids are gatherable resources found on planets of all types. Some liquids damage the player, while others can be used in crafting and as fuel.

Liquid is gathered using the Matter Manipulator, which will stack units of liquid as items in players inventory. Before liquids can be gathered, the Matter Manipulator's Expansion Slot must be upgraded one level to allow for liquid collection. To place liquids, one needs to place background tiles in addition to foreground blocks, otherwise the liquid will flow "out" through the back and disappear.
