Charge Gun is currently disabled from the game. Assets for this exist within the game files, but will not be encountered through normal gameplay.
Charge Gun is a unique tier 1 gun that uses a charging mechanic. An uncharged shot consumes 10 energy and deals 3 base damage, subject to damage modifiers. Holding primary fire for between 0.5 and 1 seconds charges the gun halfway and fires two shots, consuming 20 energy. Holding primary fire for 1 second or longer charges the gun fully and fires 3 shots, consuming 30 energy. After striking an enemy or surface, shots leave behind a small cloud of ice that lasts for 1 second and inflicts 1.5 base damage to any enemy that contacts it. The Charge Gun has a 0.25 second cooldown period between shots.
Despite being a 2-handed gun, the Charge Gun possesses no secondary ability. Furthermore, it cannot be upgraded at the Weapon Upgrade Anvil.
|Due to a (presumed) bug in the code, if all of the projectiles in a charged shot hit an enemy, the same damage is dealt to that enemy as a single uncharged shot; if only one of the three shots hit, only 1/3 of the damage of a single shot is dealt.|
