Chromosword is a sword found in chests inside Cell Caves mini biomes underground. It fires a coil of lightning when swung which deals damage upon impact. Its appearance resembles a DNA strand.

An upgraded version is availble, Cellshade, which is similarly found in Cell Caves mini biomes. Unlike Cellshade , which quickly throws rapid interconnected bolts in a small spread, Chromosword shoots lightning directly ahead of the player.

• The splash radius from the projectile can damage the player as well as others in multiplayer, regardless of PvP status.
