Lucaine's Energy Whip is a powerful Tier 6 unique whip which deals electric damage. Unlike all other whips, this whip fills both hands while equipped.

The design was submitted by a solarium tier pre-order backer, who was granted the perk of designing a weapon to be included in the game. After implementing this, a number of other whips were added to the game alongside this weapon.

The weapon's long description reads as follows: "A whip made from pure energy. Get cracking!"

Like all whips, it will quickly strike the point where the cursor crosshairs are when fired. Lucaine's Energy Whip has a maximum length of 12 segments (and a minimum length of 3 segments) while being cracked; each segment is 0.375 tiles long, allowing the whip to extend up to 4.5 tiles out from its handle. If one attempts to strike something out of range, the whip will extend as far as it can in the aimed direction.

Whip cracks take 1.1 seconds to finish once initiated. The crack has a base power of 27.72, and each segment of the whip itself has a base power of 9.24 (the base power of crack + segment totals to 36.96). An enemy hit by multiple segments at once only takes damage from one of them.

The alt ability of Lucaine's Energy Whip drains 120 energy to fire a large ball of energy in the aimed direction. This ball of energy has a knockback power of 40 (very strong knockback), pierces through enemies, and can bounce up to 5 times during its 0.75-second lifespan. Additionally, the energy ball has a base power of 8.75 and a 1.5-second delay before another energy ball can be fired.

This weapon also casts a faint glow of light while held, and a bright flash when whipped.
