Nude is a debuff status effect which makes the player appear without any equipped armor. It's applied when sleeping in most beds and tents. It is immediately removed when leaving the bed.

Although all armor appears removed, stats remain intact (although the player portrait and image in the inventory window appear nude). If players are struck while nude they'll retain all their equipped armor's defensive benefits.

Even though this is considered a buff, the effect is only cosmetic, and does not show as a buff unlike most other buffs in the game. This means even that all armor appears to be removed, stats remain intact (although the player portrait and image in the inventory window appear nude).
