Explorer's Set is an armor set which has a rare chance to be sold by merchants throughout the universe. They have similar stats to tier 4 racial armor crafted from durasteel. It is the only set that does not include a helmet, meaning that it is weaker than other tier 4 sets on its own.

The Explorer's Set is also worn by the Bandit.

Trivia

In the game's files, the icons sprite for the set shows a helmet icon, evidently indicating that a helmet was originally planned for this set. For whatever reason, it was never fully implemented.
