Fake Sparrow License is a counterfeit ship license which allows players to upgrade the size of their ship without recruitment of crew members.

It's available for purchase from Penguin Bay at the outpost, is consumed after purchase and immediately initializes the quest Shady Sparrow Ship Upgrade. After turning in the required 2 Upgrade Modules to the shipyard captain the ship size is expanded. The player is then eligible to purchase a Fake Kestrel License or initiate the quest for further ship expansion.

Note that Penguin Bay will not open until after a player on your account completes Fetch the Floran Artifact, nor will it open until that specific player has completed The Erchius Mining Facility and have fixed their ship.
