The Naturalist Merchant is a unique NPC that can only be encountered as a tenant. They have an equal chance of being either Floran or Hylotl when summoned.

Once summoned with a colony deed, the naturalist merchant sells a random selection of seeds for both crops and decor.

Certain rare crop seeds, such as feathercrown, kiwi, and neonmelon can be purchased much more easily from this merchant than found through exploration. If the summoned merchant does not offer the desired seeds, the player can simply pick up the colony deed and replace it, summoning a new merchant with a new selection of seeds.
