Pollen Pump is a Tier 2 Unique Weapon. A Reward Bag has a very small chance to drop this item instead of one of its more common rewards.

The Pollen Pump's only ability is a heavily-modified version of Bow Shot which costs 45 energy to use. Charging up the Pollen Pump for less than 0.75 seconds before releasing will shoot a single gas cloud with a base power of only 1.95. Charging it up for more than 0.75 seconds but less than 1 second (or for more than 60 seconds) will shoot a single gas cloud with a base power of 2.925. Charging it up for more than one second will shoot a shotgun burst of 5 gas clouds, each with a base power of 2.925. All gas clouds, in addition to dealing physical damage, also inflict poison that lasts for 5 seconds.

When upgraded at a Weapon Upgrade Anvil to tier 6, minimum cloud damage increases to 4.55 and maximum cloud damage increases to 6.825. In addition, the Pollen Pump's appearance changes to the one shown below.

Apart from the addition of a gold star to the name, no other changes occur as a result of the upgrade.

Strategy

• The Pollen Pump's attack is able to fire through walls, floors, and ceilings that are 1-2 blocks wide. If a player is put in a situation where an enemy is behind a wall, or is able to build a wall between themselves and an enemy, the Pollen Pump can be used to win the fight without the enemy being able to attack back in most cases.
