Rainbow Wood Planks

Rainbow Wood Planks are a crafted block type made from rainbow wood. When placed, rainbow wood planks have the same shape and general appearance as normal timber but have a rainbow gradient. They are not found anywhere in the Starbound universe; they must be crafted by players.
The first time a player picks up either rainbow wood or rainbow wood planks, they will automatically learn the crafting schematic for rainbow wood planks. Despite their similarity, rainbow wood planks are not a substitute for timber while crafting.
