Unobtainable Object

Protectorate Ship is an object unobtainable by players through normal means. This item's information is present in the game files, but not intended by developers to be in players' possession.

Protectorate Ship is a decorative object seen at the end of the Protectorate introductory mission. In that mission, it takes on an appearance similar to a deactivated Tier-1 ship of whatever race the player is controlling. However, this ship sprite has the teleporter of a beta-era ship oddly enough. After the player completes the introductory mission, their ship has the 1.0 model of the ship teleporter instead.

The only way to obtain a copy of this ship is through the use of the admin commands. Note that, after the ship is placed in a world, to break it, you must mine a spot to the bottom-left of the ship, not the ship body itself. Experimentation will be required to mine the correct spot.

When the ship is spawned, regardless of the race of the player who spawned it, the ship will take on the appearance of the human Tier-1 ship. The ship can be forced into the appearance of any other racial Tier-1 ship by hovering the cursor over the block where the ship was placed (again, not over the body of the ship) and entering the admin command /entityeval setSpecies("Species"), replacing the word Species with the case-sensitive name of the racial version of the ship desired, specifically, Apex, Avian, Floran, Glitch, Human, Hylotl, or Novakid.

Many platforms, when placed within the ship area, are hidden behind the ship sprite, so they can be used to fake floor collision. Note that in most cases, the ship is not perfectly aligned with the block grid, so placing most items within the ship will look odd.

Glitch :	Relieved. I can use this space ship to escape to safety!
Human :	Just as I hoped! This ship is my way out of here.
Hylotl :	That's it! This space ship will carry me to a safer place.
Novakid :	I'll be takin' that space ship to safety!
