Derrick Statue is a decorative object based on forum user Yongzhi's thread, MISSING DERRICK-NEED HELP FINDING CERTAIN CREATURE, pleading for help locating a captured monster that was lost.

'Finding Derrick' grew into a community-wide project. He was eventually located, first having planet coordinates shared with his location and then as a community-made pet mod.
