Glowbug is a type of bug which can be caught using a Bug Net. Catching it will complete entry #40 in the Bugs Collection inside the collections library.

They can be found in Volcanic biomes. They can be seen glowing in darkness, and glow faintly inside their jar after capture.

If captured and released using a Relocator they'll fly around instead of being inside a jar. Bugs captured using a Relocator won't count toward the bug catching collection or achievements.
