Bug Net is a tool that allows the player to catch small bugs from the air. These bugs are then placed inside small jars. Each bug caught using the bug net will award progress toward the bugs collection in addition to two bug catching achievements.

The bug net actually does 0.01 base damage to any enemy in the game. With such low damage, it takes over one hundred hits to kill the weakest aggressive monster on a tier 1 world, while wearing tier 6 manipulator armor and an EPP with a Damage III augment.
