Diamond Pickaxe is a tool that deals 3.5 damage 10 times per 3 seconds to blocks in a 3x3 square. It was formerly the sixth tier pickaxe, but as of version 1.1.1 is now the fifth tier pickaxe. It remains the highest tier pickaxe which is obtainable through normal gameplay.

Diamond Pickaxes can mine all types of ore, though as of version 1.1.1 this is now true of all pickaxes, not just diamond ones.

This pickaxe was craftable in early beta, but was made uncraftable in update Pleased Giraffe. As of version 1.1.1 it can only be found inside containers on Tier 3 and 4 Planets or purchased from Ursa Miner once The Player has completed Fetch the Avian Artifact.
