Research Station is currently disabled from the game. Assets for this exist within the game files, but will not be encountered through normal gameplay.

Research Station was a Crafting Station in earlier versions of the game. It was automatically placed on the player's ship after upgrading it to Tier 5.

The Research Station was disabled in the update Cheerful Giraffe and much of the functionality it had moved to the higher upgrades of the Inventor's Table.
