Status Light is a light source object which is found in the boss chamber of the Erchius Horror inside the Erchius Mining Facility. When the switches to enable the laser cannon are flipped the light will change from red to blue.

The light is handy as an indicator in other wired constructions, acting as an easy indicator that a wire has passed a signal successfully.

In addition to the Mining Facility, these lights can also be found attached to the keypads in bounty vaults, the bounty missions that require a password to progress. While the vaults are shielded during the bounty mission, after the bounty has been completed, they are supposed to become unshielded, which allows the player to collect these lights. (Sometimes this process fails and a vault remains shielded.)

Racial Descriptions


Apex :	The light indicates the status of the switch.
Avian :	When the light is blue, the switch is on.
Floran :	Blue light means ssswitch is on.
Glitch :	Perceptive. A blue light indicates an active switch.
Human :	The switch is active when the light is blue.
Hylotl :	A light to indicate the status of a switch.
Novakid :	The light goes blue when the switch is hit.
