Unobtainable Object

Long Mechanical Elevator is an object unobtainable by players through normal means. This item's information is present in the game files, but not intended by developers to be in players' possession.

Long Mechanical Elevator was an elevator object craftable in late beta. After being placed a movable platform will continuously travel up and down the length of the track. When connected to a switch it will travel either up or down once for each triggered input and will remain locked in place otherwise.

When moving a system of gears turns and appears to pull chains which move the elevator platform. This elevator is the tall version of Short Mechanical Elevator.

The recipe for this elevator was removed when the rail crafting table was introduced and there's no method to obtain it outside admin commands. However, it is still encountered during the Miniknog Stronghold mission.
