It was included as placeholder content during early access, and replaced before full release

Food Bowl was a storage object that ship pets could interact with. It had a single slot. When food was placed in it, pets would eat from it.

It could be purchased from Terramart for 50 pixels. It was removed from the game along with the pet hunger system in update 1.2.0.

Racial Descriptions


Apex :	Food can be left in this bowl for pets.
Avian :	If I leave food inside this bowl my pet will know it's for them.
Floran :	Pet bowl holdss food insside.
Glitch :	Responsible. Keeping my pets well fed will make them grow strong and happy.
Human :	This bowl is just the right size for my pets favourite foods.
Hylotl :	This small bowl can hold food inside for pets.
Novakid :	This little trough is for feedin' pets.
