Cold Protection was a tech that toggled a protective bio-implant allowing players to breathe on airless planets and moons and have protection from extreme cold. Because it provided both oxygen and radiation protection it acted as a replacement for both the Breath Protection and Radiation Protection bio implants.

It was rewarded after players completed the mission Asking Questions.

It was removed in update Cheerful Giraffe with the implementation of the EPP system. This tech specifically was replaced by Heating EPP.
