Industrial Light is a light source object found in NPC ships and space encounters. It can be purchased from industrial ship merchants, or scanned and printed via the Pixel Printer. While a recipe exists for this object in the game assets, that recipe is not a default recipe nor is it taught by anything currently in the game.

When placed it defaults to on, but can be toggled to an on/off state using a connected wired switch.

Racial Descriptions


Apex :	This light gives off an orange glow. It appears to be fairly cheaply produced.
Avian :	This light gives off an orange glow, but it isn't warm like a sun.
Floran :	Floran wants to sssmash light, but Floran will be polite inssstead.
Glitch :	Analytical. This light has been built to be able to power itself for a very long time.
Human :	An unpleasant orange light. I wonder how long the bulb lasts?
Hylotl :	The orange glow of this light reminds me of the ember corals commonly seen on ocean floors.
Novakid :	This light ain't quite as bright as I am!
