Kennel is currently disabled from the game. Assets for this exist within the game files, but will not be encountered through normal gameplay.

Kennel is a an interactable bed type object that can be sometimes found in the wild, often accompanied by a dog.

During beta, after accepting the quest Hylotl's Best Friend players would obtain the crafting schematic for kennel. Crafting one was a requirement of completing that quest. It's since been removed and the crafting recipe still exists in the game's files, but can't be learned through normal gameplay.
