Basic Shield is currently the only shield in the game that can be crafted, though it can also be found in Glitch Dungeon Crawlers. It is also the only unique shield which does not have a variable tier - its tier is always 1 (that is, actual health is equal to base health).

It has 20 health and a 0.45-second cooldown which begins when the shield is lowered.
