Unique Monster Treasure Pools
Due to the sheer number of unique Monsters in the game, this section, rather than providing exact treasure pools, instead gives treasure pool templates which can be used to generate a particular monster's treasure pool by substituting in its unique drops.
As far as treasure is concerned, every unique monster has these three things:
Non-Hunting Treasure Pools
The treasure pools of most unique monsters follow this format:
If a unique monster has two unique monster drops, each drop has a 50% chance to be chosen when Unique Monster Drop is chosen.
Hunting Treasure Pools
The hunting treasure pools of most unique monsters follow one of two formats depending on whether the monster can drop raw meat:
Meat Hunting Treasure
Unique monsters with Basic Monster Treasure or Flying Monster Treasure as their Typed Treasure have hunting treasure pools following this template:
Monsters with Basic Monster Treasure as their typed treasure drop Raw Steak when Monster Meat is chosen while monsters with Flying Monster Treasure as their typed treasure drop Raw Poultry instead.
No-Meat Hunting Treasure
Unique monsters with Robot Treasure or No-Meat Monster Treasure as their Typed Treasure have hunting treasure pools following this template:
In both cases, if a unique monster has two unique monster drops, each drop has a 50% chance to be chosen when Unique Monster Drop is chosen.
Notable Exceptions
- The Mother Poptop drops 20 Core Fragments in addition to dropping Adult Poptop drops.
- Despite having Basic Monster Treasure as its typed treasure, Snuffish does not ever drop meat when killed with a hunting weapon.
- The Hemogoblin has several unusual characteristics:
- The whole Hemogoblin drops nothing regardless of the weapon used to damage it until it splits.
- The Hemogoblin Head drops nothing when killed with a hunting weapon.
- The Hemogoblin Butt drops nothing when killed with a non-hunting weapon. In addition, its Monster Meat is Raw Ribs rather than Raw Steak.
- The Nutmidge and both normal Nutmidgelings spawned on death drop nothing - only the King Nutmidgeling spawned on death can drop hunting or non-hunting loot.
- Bosses, farm animals and mission-specific monsters do not adhere to these templates - see their respective pages for loot probabilities.
