The appearance of this weapon resembles a large worm, its body trails behind it as it flies through the air. It twists around dealing poison damage to enemies before returning to the player.
In contrast to the Boomerang, the Giant Worm's flight path is much more erratic due to the fact that it travels in a wave pattern rather than a straight line, as well as the fact that its bounce trajectory is far less predicable than the Boomerang's. This makes the Giant Worm more prone to bouncing off of floors, walls, or ceilings and causing it to completely miss the intended target. To compensate for this, it is recommended to aim slightly above the intended target when throwing the weapon to reduce the chance of the worm bouncing off of obstructions.
The Giant Worm has a base power of 7.5 and a 0.6-second delay before you can throw the Giant Worm again after catching it.
When upgraded at a Weapon Upgrade Anvil to tier 6, the Giant Worm's base power increases to 10.5. Additionally, its appearance changes to the one shown below.
Apart from the addition of a gold star to the name, no other changes occur as a result of the upgrade.
