Throwing Bones is a throwable item that can be found in chests, mostly in Bones and Bone Caves biomes.

When thrown three large bones scatter and deal damage to anything they strike. Each bone has a base power of 6 and can bounce up to 2 times off of terrain. There is a 0.75-second delay between consecutive Throwing Bones throws with the same hand, producing a maximum base one-handed DPS of 24 (only if all 3 bones hit the same enemy).

After first obtaining Ancient Bones or Bones, players will automatically learn the crafting schematic for Throwing Bones.
