Fishaxe (Drops) is an object unobtainable by players through normal means. This item's information is present in the game files, but not intended by developers to be in players' possession. |
Fishaxe (Drops) is a developer tool type item that is able to mine large areas of blocks. The fishaxe's animation is a chopping motion as the player holds it by the tail.
This tool is exactly the same in stats and appearance as the Super Fishaxe, dealing 10 block damage 100 times per second to blocks in a 7x7 square; however, it was only recently added to the game files. While the Super Fishaxe prevents blocks from giving drops, the Fishaxe (Drops) does not have that restriction, so using this tool may end up causing lag due to the generation of lots of dropped items.
It should be noted that the Fishaxe (Drops) does not appear to drop ores mined, but instead only drops the block the ore was in.
It is not yet known if the fishaxe will be released in game, or will remain a developer only item.
