Iron Hunting Bow
Removed: No Longer Available
Iron Hunting Bow was removed from the game files, and is no longer obtainable. |
Iron Hunting Bow was a direct upgrade to the Hunting Bow. It was a Unique Weapon and was crafted using the Wooden Workbench.
Monsters killed with the Iron Hunting Bow had a chance to drop Raw Steak, which is a good source of early-game food, as well as Leather which was solely used to craft the Snow Infantry Set pieces at a Yarn Spinner, another great thing to have at the beginning of the game.
The crafting schematic for Iron Hunting Bow was automatically learned after picking up an Iron Bar; however, it was removed when weapons were reworked in update cheerful giraffe, likely due to how minor the difference between it and the Hunting Bow made it arbitrary.
Like all other bows, the Iron Hunting Bow had a charged shot, indicated by the bow flashing white for a split-second. Fully charged arrows were represented by a blue tip and trailed particles, among the usual benefits of a fully charged shot.
As secondary abilities for bows hadn't be implemented when the Iron Hunting Bow was in the game, it lacked the Zen Shot that most other Hunting bows have now.
