An orange! Perfect! It turns out I had left my original nose in my pocket all along. Here, you can have it. This orange nose is FAR funnier.

The Joker and the Thief was a quest given at the outpost after completing the quest Psst (Condor Class) which awarded the last Ship Upgrade.
It required the player gather an orange, which could be bought from the Terramart right in the Outpost. After turning the orange the quest giver would reward a Gag Nose costume head piece and gave a follow up quest; Audience of One (Part I).
This quest was removed from the game when the game's story was overhauled in update cheerful giraffe.
