Contributing to Society was a quest given at the outpost, it was made available after completing the quest Rent Well Spent.

It required the player obtain a diamond, which is a rare ore found underground. After turning the diamond into the female Apex scientist NPC at the outpost she'd reward the player 200 pixels and a Teleporter Core which allowed players to purchase a placeable teleporter from the 2 Stop Teleshop vendor at the outpost.

This quest was removed from the game when the game's story was overhauled in update cheerful giraffe.
