I'm going to need better tools if I'm going to survive down here. I should start by making use of a furnace and smelting some copper ore to obtain a copper bar. The deeper underground I go the more likely I am to find ore.
10Nice! I'll need a whole bunch of copper bars to start building tools. A copper pickaxe will allow me to mine faster for a while.

Tutorial VI: Tools For The Job was the sixth in a series of tutorial quests which was given after completing Tutorial V: Out Of The Frying Pan....
It required the player craft a Copper Bar. This could be done by mining Copper Ore using the Matter Manipulator, then using the ore to make a Copper Bar at the Stone Furnace.
After completing this the next tutorial quest, Tutorial VII: Forging Ahead became available automatically.
This quest was removed from the game when the game's story was overhauled in update cheerful giraffe.
