• The design of the Durasteel Broadsword's hilt is reminiscent of the Matter Manipulator. In fact all but the iron and -to and extent- aegisalt craftable weapons (that are known by default, including in the case of the Novakid weapons) feature design elements that imply a connection to Protectorate technology, primarily their golden elements and inclusion of red and green lights.
