Underground Mushroom cave mini-biomes feature mushroom blocks, growing mushrooms, and giant mushroom trees much like surface Mushroom Patch mini biomes. However, Mushrooms occurs in the Shallow Underground layer of a planet rather than on the surface.

Pockets of Mushrooms biome can be more-or-less created via use of a Fungal Microformer.
