Foundry is a mini-biome on Volcanic planets. It has forges and NPCs who act as workers. They have rust trees that drop Metal Coated Wood when felled. It replaces the old Rust minibiome.

Pockets of Foundry biome can be created by using a Rusty Microformer.

Foundry is an object tag associated with objects and furniture that are associated with foundry mini-biomes. These objects are used for spawning Foundry Merchant tenants.

The foundry merchant offers the following goods for sale. This merchant is a slightly cheaper, albeit lategame, alternative to the Ursa Miner shop at the outpost.
