Apex Brain Mutant is a hostile unique monster. It has the appearance of a genetically modified Apex, bound to a technologically advanced wheelchair with has a visibly enlarged brain encased in glass.

Pre 1.0 it had two forms of attack: A gun that is always on its person, which shoots electric bolts at a given target, and the ability to levitate players using a form of telekinesis identical to that of some beta-era monsters. Direct confrontation was not recommended unless armed with a ranged weapon. As of 1.4.4 only the gun attack remains functional and the monster appears unable to climb up any blocks.
